Hi all
Does anyone have the Decal sheet for an Estes industries BLU-97b rocket. (See picture) I have seached the net, but can't seem to find them anywhere. Please upload pictures if you have. And I will then try to make my own. With kind regards Rasmus Jakobsen Denmark Folgende Datei wurde angehängt: |

Zitat: Hi Rasmus, there are no decals to find in the web... by the way, it's not a good rocket to build and fly. It's a bomb, not a rocket Tom |

Hehe,
if I wanted to start a real flamewar, Tom, I could say about the same thing regarding the A4/V2-missile you've got your hands on in the picture of your avatar. But I won't say that. Really! In fact, I was quite upset as I read through the new Estes catalog and spotted the lots of war-machinery depicted there. This definetly wasn't the Estes programm I had known in former times. It seemed to me as if the new Estes programm had suffered some kind of concession, perhaps to be in line with the new G.W. administration... Or like to give a signal like "don't make us victims of your homeland security act, look *we're patriots, too!* URGHHH! On the other hand they've also got the X-Prize kits now. Anyway - I just stick with Peter Alway: No missiles, just rockets... Rasmus, just in case you don't know it yet, and JIC you'd like to give your rocket an other finish, lots of scanned decals and plans of course can be found at James Zalewski's place, here: http://www.dars.org/jimz/rp00.htm It's well worth strolling there because of lot's of beautiful old Estes kits, too. Have fun. "Am Schluß jeder Berechnung steht das Experiment" (Rolli) |

Zitat: Hi Tom, yes and No The A4 is the most classical rocket. When the A4 is in camouflage colors then it is a missile to kill people (I think so). In black & white it was the first rockets, which fly's out of our atmosphere. Without the knowledge from the black&white A4's, there was no chance to fly on the moon ... back to the Estes BLU-97b decals CU Tom |
